YaBB SE Netscape Sidebar script?

Has anybody hacked together a script to make a Netscape/Mozilla/Opera sidebar to complement a YaBB Se board? I was thinking maybe something that showed who was online and what the most recent x-number of posts were. That way, people could check in on the conversation quickly and easily from their sidebar.

Anybody ever try this?

You could use the SSI.php file for this. I think details on how to use it can be found in the file or the readme.
