I think Greg Robson is making a backup utility. In the meantime, get something like phpMyBackup (http://www.phpmybackup.com) to backup your MySQL databases for you. You can setup a cron job to run it automatically.

Cron-jobs if for linux/unix only.
If you have windows,you have to play with scheduler(dutch: Taakplanner)

There won't be a mod (I think), since not everyone is allowed to set up cron jobs or something similar!

here is the cron job I use for phpmybackup.

type crontab -e at the bash prompt

then insert this line to run it every friday night at 1 am.

0 1 * * 6 php -q /path/to/phpmybackup/export.php db_name

Use google to find a good page of howto work with crontab and it should show you howto make it run when you want.

Tha Master has a non-linux/non-unix server. So, he can't use cron jobs
It's a good example for people who are allowed to set up cron jobs
