Mod To Prevent Users From Deleting Posts

I really need something that will disable the "delete" feature for users, but which will still allow admins/moderators to delete posts.

I've already had two users go trigger happy with deleting their own threads en masse. I do not wish to allow my members to delete their own posts.

Anybody?

NOooooooooooooooo ! Why ? I like to answer questions. I was born to do that. I found YaBB and YaBB SE and since these days, I'm happy - aaaaaahhhhhh... *jumping around my room and crying, hit my printer with my new axe, throwing my PC out of the window* -> only sometimes, when I'm tired ;D

You know, this thread made me cranky ... but the mod works great, so I'm in a fantastic mood now.

Everyone is entitled to one stupid question -- this is mine for 2002.

But until that "security" thread, it wasn't all that easy to find this mod. Typing in "user delete" did not produce any worthwhile results, and that's what I did. There's a lot of stuff here now -- it's a lot to wade through if you've been too busy to check the board daily for a few months -- as is the case with me.

I understand how answering the same question over and over again can become irritating. Asking the same question is irritating, too -- after all, I asked for this mod repeatedly between December and April when a user of mine went delete happy all over the board.  :o

So this mod -- above all others -- was important to me. Thanks for directing me to it and God bless the kindly mod writer who created it!!
