Quick-Reply VS Mute User
« Reply #47 on: September 03, 2002, 05:06:25 AM »
Reply with quote

If you happen to be using mute user from Jedi, this "fix" will allow quick reply to work with mute. Quick reply will disapear if the user is muted..

<search for>
   $QuickReply = QuickReply($mstate,$msubthread);
   print <<<EOT
   </font> </td>
 </tr>
 <tr>
   <td align="right" colspan="2"><form action="$scripturl" method="GET">
   <font size="1">$txt[160]:</font>$selecthtml</form></td>
 </tr>
</table>
   $QuickReply
EOT;

       footer();
       obExit();
}
</search for>

<replace>
   $QuickReply = QuickReply($mstate,$msubthread);
   print <<<EOT
    </font> </td>
  </tr>
  <tr>
    <td align="right" colspan="2"><form action="$scripturl" method="GET">
    <font size="1">$txt[160]:</font>$selecthtml</form></td>
  </tr>
</table>
EOT;
   if ($muteuser[0] == 0) {
      print "<BR>$QuickReply";
      }
   footer();
   obExit();
}
</replace>

Scratch that post. One of the other mods knocked off the select and I didn't catch it. I got it now., ,however flagging the selection is not changing anything.. the msgview is still displaying.. I'm working on it..  (5 minutes later.. ) There. Got it. No alarms after all!

Quote from: Webby on August 17, 2002, 09:09:31 PMI changed it a bit, so there are smilies above the box, and also a link to "more smilies".

Yes I will like to add the code more of smilies, thank you to give it to me and to tell me or to put it.  ;)

Is there a "full" version of quick reply mod, or I have to make all the changes showed on this topic?
I've downloaded the zip, and it doesn't work :(
