I've tried to add the "notify" checkbox... but it doesn't work... any chance of getting a helping hand here ?

Hellow, I'm back again.

I'll make a new mod-file, so it will be YaBB SE 1.5.1 RC1 -compatible.

Before I forget it: Now a (global) moderator/administrator can reply on a locked topic by clicking on the 'Reply'-button, but in my new version, the quick-reply box will stay if you're a (global) moderator/administrator. It doesn't matter the topic is locked.

Info:

If the administrator enables this mod, the user gets an option in his profile to enable/disable the quick-reply box.
Global Moderators, Moderators of that board and Administrators will see the quick-reply box even if the topic has been locked.

I've lost the password of my account (sylvester) and the password of my mailbox, so I had to register again and start a new topic, because the topic has been locked.

I made this mod compatible for 1.5.x

Btw - silly question - I'm installing the mod manually. So after adjusting info according to the MOD file, I then upload the dbmod.php file to my website yabb folder and run it? Just thought I'd better check first...

Putting the smilies above the text area, how should one do that ?

but how to get the selected smiley into the textarea ......?

I'd look at the normal post area if I were you, it must be somewhere around there.

I know, and I tried, but there has to be something done special regarding to the java scripting, because I'm getting java-script errors.  You know I tried, Wezz

would it be hard to put a checkbox "Notification of replies" near quick reply box? as it's the only thing which make me use sometimes "Reply" dialog...
Also I think that putting smiles above form is great idea.

I've install it and it works like a charm for me;) I'll check it in Opera 7, IE 5.0 and Mozilla latest build. I'll report any bugs if spot them, good job Webby, 10x!

BTW what about moresmilies.gif as this is displayed as broken image in IE, where it could be taken?
