Gobalopper,

How can I make this open in a seperate window that refreshes every 30 seconds?

Cheers.

I believe eberon posted how to get it to refresh every 30 seconds on the first page of this thread. If you wanted it to always pop-up in a new window you would add target=""_blank"" to the <a href> tag that links to the who's online page.

I hope sometime this week. The current version will work fine and there shouldn't be many changes in the next version. Just code to add more customizing via the admin center and extracting the language for easier translation.

Ok, a few days ago, I went and added this function in, and altered the tables accordingly, and it worked. Then, yesterday, it stopped working. So, today, I went and re-added the pages and fixed the tables again, and it still doesn't work.

It doesn't show me the ip# of the person, and the 'Action' is defaulted to viewing the main index..

any ideas? :-/

Ugh, lots.

http://www.ufba.org/forum/index.php is my MB address.

I've got the moderator column installed, the 'last post by' image installed, an updated memberlist, the 'who's online' which I just removed the link to as I couldn't get it to work, the smilies mod, which doesn't add new smileys. That's all that I can remember off the top of my head..

In a little bit I'm going to go through, once more, and try out the .mod again, seeing as how i MIGHT HAVE overwritten the part of the code that references to the phpmyadmin/mysql tables yabbse_log_online. Dunno though. I'll let ya know how it comes out. :P

*Goes and try out the .mod again*

EDIT:

Yay! What I thought had happened, was right. In the subs.php, I used an old subs.php file I had to update a mod with, but I uploaded it, instead of the one with the info that subs.php had. I went in, and fixed it. When I went to the users online, it showed me ip#, and what I was doing only, out of 2 guests, and 4 other users online, but I'm guessing that once they move/relogin/logout and then login, it'll show their ip# / what they're doing too.

Edit again:

Yea, it did. They moved to something else, and now it shows their ip# and what they're doing.

Thanks for the help. ;D *updates all the files on his HD with current ones*

Works like a charm, great addition.

Integrated it into boardindex.php to display it in the memberstable under the memberlist and made it accesseble for members only by adding the "if($username == "Guest") { fatal_error($txt[223]); }" argument to who.php

.text1        {font-style: normal; font-weight: bold; font-size: 13px; color: #000000;}
.catbg        {background-color: #006699; color: #EEEEEE; font-weight: bold; font-size: 13px;}
.bordercolor  {background-color: #000000;}
.quote        {font-size: 10px; font-family: Arial; color: #FFFFFF; background-color: dimgray;}
.code         {font-size: 10px; font-family: Courier New; color: #000000; background-color: #FFB920;}

Notice you use 13px for font-size? The way I setup the tables is to use 0.8em, which is usually ok but since you use 13px it is making it really small. So I would recommend using a different size, its usually a bad idea to use px for your font size.

You could try 0.8em, that should be ok but try messing around a bit with different values. Keep in mind 1.0 em is the users default setting so anything below that is smaller and above that is bigger.

You can edit that it in your template.php file and you can change the color there and in your settings.
