Its not letting me.  Someone Installed another YABB on the same server and it installed the same database, so I am trying to change mine, so I dumped my yabbse database over to another one but in the preferences and settings its not letting me change the database name... is there any reason for this?

Okay, that fixed the first problem... now my second problem is properly backing up the database with the posts and all..
Is there a way to back all that up directly through YABBSE??  Cause I THOUGHT I did it through PHP My ADMIN but that's being a ho.
:-( My server admin's girlfriend is in town.. so I'm all lost ...

Or does anyone know how to rename databases?  I know this is kinda.. out of the realm of yabbse but you guys are all smart cats.. thanks.

I use http://www.phpmybackup.com to do backups.

As for renaming databases, I have no idea, maybe delete and recreate it?

Hmm.. Guh! Configuring more software on the server! oh nos!  :'(  The dump just seemed to give me a bunch of 1KB files which was really weird, perhaps I can try this again.. I think I can do this with Telnet.. or something.
