Karma gets stuck on 126 and -127(I tried to give myself low karma...). Either this is a bug... or I need help to fix this.

There is a thread with a fix for this.  Change the field type in the database that stores karma from int to bigint.  Although I think 1.4 should fix this in the upgrade and install.

There seems to be something wrong with the email people receives, if the server is set to generate user passwords.
The username makes it into the email, but the password doesn't.

Jeff, as you know my board is also using php4.2.0, which i think is why this doesnt work anymore.

You need to install the bug fix to fix that problem.

Haven't spent too much time looking over it, but you might want to check out 4.2.1, see if there's anything in that release that could cause conflicts (which is what my server is now running on and it's pissing me off because I thought I had caused a bug with yapp screwing everything up and I spent 2 hours fidiling with it to discover that my server was now on 4.2.1.  :-\ )

something that isnt really a bug, but should be changed IMO:

:-/ should register as :-\  as well to the normal emoticon for :-\

Can we have some check box in the IM for easy to delete multiple IM, instead of having to delete one by one or all at one go.

That's for YSE2, remember, 1.4 is for bugs mainly, not features.

For PHP 4.2 Register Globals support, will YaBB SE turn the feature off explicitly and not make any assumption about this feature being disabled in php.ini?

Many applications still require Register Globals enabled to run and I suspect that sloppy admins will leave it enabled. Sensible applications should disable Register Globals for themselves.

Neil, we don't touch register globals.  It's about 5 lines of code added which take care of everything.

Speaking of which, what does register globals mean anyway?
