Oh Goody! Another fun-filled few hours of upgrading the board and then re-installing all 12 or so mods I had installed...

This can't be stressed enough.  BACKUP before you upgrade, just like you should do with any upgrade.  Save your Settings.php file and your template.php file.  Also backup your database.  If you are running 1.5.x use the "Dump Database" tool in your admin center.  Otherwise follow these instructions.

1. I cannot upgrade my: 1.5.1 RC1 release with the preconised file... the number version stay 1.5.1 RC1  
I have see that this forum have the same pblm

You MUST upload all the files, not just run the upgrade.php file.  If you don't your version number will not increase.  (and your forum will not work...)

Just upload all the 1.5.1 upgrade files, and then use the 1.5.0 upgrade.php before using the 1.5.1 upgrade.php.

That's not a issue, at least not a bug.

There is a mod that resizes the avatars.

where is this magical mod? is it available for 1.5.1 yet? does it resize ALL avatars? or just the ones that are too big (what I really need)

it's actually already in YaBBSE .. look under the "Forum Prefs and Settings" in the Admin Panel and scroll all the way down to the bottom.. I'm pretty sure that's where it is.. and it says "User Pic Width and Height". Input the values there and viola!  I had to do this myself.. someone put a pic that took the whole screen .. =oÞ

I couldnt figure where else to post this, please move if this is the wrong place

i need to get my ssi.php working again after the upgrade.

1st the recent topics include does not work. just shows 3 lines

2nd i need to get the news to work. last time i needed to combine the news with the ssi because microsoft IIS servers wont do php includes like in the example.

could someone help me?
