Ongoing open beta (1.5.1) - Current Build: 45

In the upgrade instructions, it says nothing about updating the Help files, but these seem to be different in 1.5.1 than 1.5.0. Should I replace the files in this directory? I've already done the upgrade, and everything is working fine.

I am running 1.5.1 build 42... (I just can't keep up with you guys   ) and I awoke this morning to my board giving me this error message:

Generally speaking most of the board is functioning.  i.e. it appears that the server is fine and that the mySQL db is still talking to me.  I can even log in.  It is just having problems getting data for messages.


Any help appreciated.

Right, my work has decided to move it serers to NT, will the final version - 1.51 run on nt - please say yes!!!

That is with ported versions of mysql and php.

I didn't get an answer to the Help file question. The upgrade instructions don't say to update that, but the files sizes are different--it looks like it needs updating. Should I copy the new files over? Will I break anything if I do?

Overwrite everything if you doubt what to do

The files in help subfolder, AFAIK, weren't changed, only the helpadmin files...

As long as you've got the proper versions of mySQL and PHP running, it's pretty much independent of the OS.  I was running fine on IIS until I moved to Linux.

I have working 1.5.1 on a Win2k+Latest Apache (1.3.x)+PHP 4.3.1+Latest mySQL without any problem

It's a program called perror that comes with MySQL.
