I'm not sure this is a bug.  People are always told not to use special characters in censored words...

As a workaround, you could of course use a slash: \(.

Both my boards have now been updated and are showing plain '1.5.1' everywhere they should be, so thanks again!

PS 20 minutes each, even allowing for dumping the databases (my board at a mere 241 posts but the four-week-old Pixelparity at a more encouraging 2000) before *and* after the updates, all uploads on 56K dial-up, a couple of test posts and version checks etc. before taking them back out of maintenance mode.

That's not a issue, at least not a bug.

There is a mod that resizes the avatars.

Will there ever be a setting that will allow you to set the MAX avatar image size withough resizing ALL the images to that size? Some of my users have oversized pics (becasue they linked them from somewhere else) and I'd like to make them decrese in size IF they are too big. any ideas/future mods along those lines? surely I'm not the only one!
