hmm.. for some reason this just isn't working for me.. tried uploading with frontpage.. tried uploading via ftp via ascii mode and still no go.. any other suggestions?

If you opened it (or anything with php/perl/etc. code in it) in FP, you can figure it is messed-up but good.  In fact, it may be messed-up anyway just from trying to upload it with FP.  Larry

Two and a half months after the release of 1.5.0, I am waiting for the release of 1.5.1.  Any target date for a final non-beta release?

Possible additional functionality...?

How about removing the <<previous or next>> links when you are at the last thread in a board, as appropriate?  What d'ya think?

I am also waiting - but willing to be very very patient. There are a lot of people doing a superb job on the entire issue, and I don't think any of us can thank you enough for your efforts, no matter how long it takes. The YaBB team in general and YaBB users making this effort go a long way to showing why YaBB is such a phenomenal name in bulletin boards.

I doubt I would be of any use in direct testing, as I don't know how to php or even touch a MySQL - but if anyone would like myself to join forums involved in the beta to look for member bugs I'll be happy to.

I just upgraded my forums from 1.4 to 1.5.1 Build 44 and everything seemed to be working fine.

In the last 24 hours though things have been getting really SLOW..

I know it is not the host in general because everything else on the site besides the forums still runs fast.  It is just the forums.. maybe the database??

Anyways.. the forums just seem to hang up at random spots..  Doesn't matter what message I am trying to access, or if I am just trying to access the main board index.  It just sits there indefinitely trying to load.

Has anyone seen this?

I have already optimized it..  still the same results.  Are you sure it is the host?  Because other database things on the host work fine..  it is just these forums.

There are like a total of 1500 users and almost 18,000 posts.  I am wondering if that is why the problem is occuring.. the database lookups are taking too long?

Unfortunatly my old board has been deleted - but the database. i just reinstalled 1.4.1, then upgraded to 1.5.0. everything worked fine but the login function - the user doesn't stay logged in.
thats why i decided just to upgrade to 1.5.1RC1-44. But somehow the database update didn't work correctly. first I got this message:

Error: MySQL said:

Duplicate column name 'ID_LAST_TOPIC'
Error: MySQL said:

Can't DROP 'membername'. Check that column/key exists
Data inserted successfully!

Data inserted successfully!

Data inserted successfully!

Okay, i clicked on "continue". then i only got

Upgrade of SQL is ok.
If there is an error message indicating a duplicate column or an table that already exists, you can ignore those errors.

nothing more.

when i go to my main site the following message appears:

Unknown column 'lb.ID_MEMBER' in 'on clause'
Datei: /h/c/10100/kunden.jp-solution.net/skimboards.de/blackboard/Sources/BoardIndex.php
Zeile: 153

login now works fine - but this bad error comes! can someone help me please?
