You should probably ask supermod about this.  Who knows what changes they might have had to make to the code to get it to fit.
Try going to supermod.org and ask them for help.

When I originally agreed to let them use Shoutbox in SuperMod, they said they were going to make some substantial changes to it.  The agreement was that they could make the changes, but that they would resume all support for the SuperMod version.

I believe you're getting that because there are no records in your shoutbox table...  try inserting a row through phpMyAdmin and see if that clears it up.

Either that, or it's because you have the shoutbox set to Ascending order and your mySQL doesn't like temporary tables.

It already has a row.. and the shout box is configured desending.

It seems to me like the page hasn't loaded any of the YaBB SE settings yet, which would indicate that you're calling the shoutbox somewhere outside of your template.  

I see you are trying to use the SSI.php version.  Can you do me a favor and try one of the other SSI functions and see if that works.  I only did limited testing on the SSI function, but it seemed to work when I did it on my test server.

and then where you want to call the shoutbox, just use

acf was using a news include that was also making a mySQL connection.  I think we can fix it by re-arranging some things abit.  Mainly, calling SSI.php immediately before calling the the shout_ssi() function.
