I didn't have that blanc page problem yesterday. Today I always get a blanc page when I visit the index (atleast if I go from another site to the forum, not when I go to the index from the forum)

Hi,

I am currently running v1 Gold - SP1. Is it a major job to upgrade to this latest version?

BB running at http://www.derbyphoenix.com/bb btw.

Cheers,

Andy

Quote from: Jeff Lewis on December 26, 2002, 02:54:27 AMThis forum will not be upgraded to 1.5. Basically all the speedup stuff is in here but we have several custom MODs that we don't want to bother upgrading.

So...the next version this forum will be is version 2.

hmmm, I guess I won't be upgrading either.  I have a heavily modded 1.31, which is quite fast for the amount of traffic I hold due to mods I did as well as the speedup mods that exist.  I have just done way to much to my boards to have to do it 2 more times :)

I have a couple mods on my page, will the upgrade still work with the mods?

And does the upgrade affect the sql database?

yes and yes. You will lose your mods and your db schema will be affected. Have no fear for that only affects YSE. also, you could probably easily work the mods to work with 1.5

After you upgrade, you will have to reinstall all of your mods.
