jv, the file is Subs.php and not Sub.php it is located in the Sources sub-directory. you only need to alter index.php in the forum root directory.......any other index.php file in sub-directories contain different code and should not be altered. you may be looking at index.php in the sources sub-directory...that file contains very little code... don't panic....you can always download the Yabbse files again from this site if you have erased/damaged the code....just take your time with this....there's no rush and you will get there in the end..... smiler

lol i musta been drunk that dont even make sense to me well it can still work right i mean its just trying to load off site info and spittin a error but the installer should work right i mean it only reads the files in the package folder and changes files i think that it can do that seeing that the attactments and stuff work so i know that the script can write files just needa make it only list the files in the package folder and stop trying to load off site info
