[Beta 1.5.1RC1 & 1.4.1] Photo Gallery Mod

JRCarr is right, the one I integrated to YSE is Coppermine 1.0 RC3, 1.1 has it's own user system. you'll also need the modified coppermine (link is in the first post) to run it with YSE, the clean version from coppermine site won't work

O.K... I have now installed RC3 and users no longer have to login to upload images or view galleries, but I'm still not seeing the Gallery Settings menu like I think I'm supposed to and the look of the gallery is not integrated with the look of YaBBSE (see image http://www.drunk-n-stupid.com/images/compare.jpg). Is the YSE header supposed to carry over to the gallery? Have I done something wrong?

you must be missing <yabb galleryMenu> tag

what you install is the original coppermine gallery script from coppermine site
you have to install the modded one (it's inside CoppermineYSE1.5.1-RC3.zip)

I get it now. It's a little confusing 'cuz you have the 1.51 mods which include the modded Coppermine install and then the 1.52 mod which doesn't. I just downloaded the 1.52 file and thought I had everything.

1. My forum uses the german buttons. When I go the gallery there'll be shown the english buttons. What can I do without copying the german buttons into YaBBimages?
2. Which are the best thumbnail settings? GD1, GD2, ImageMagick
3. Is there a possibility to change the title of the pictures from the gallery?

Alright... Now I've got it running great! Except...

It doesn't use the same CSS as YSE and when I click on "Edit Gallery CSS" in the Gallery Settings, it brings up a CSS alright, but when I change anything, save and then refresh, nothing changes! Beyond that, I have no idea what the different headings mean. Any idea why?

How come the "themes" that came with Coppermine aren't used in the modded version, anyway?

i think there's a fix for this a few pages back... u just have to do some digging

1. edit include/init.inc.php, search for

include_once "$boarddir/english.lng";replace with

include_once "$boarddir/german.lng";

2. it depends on what your server supports, check the phpinfo to see what you have
GD2 and ImageMagick should make better thumbnail than GD1
