Good. Just wondering were you using build 42? This mod was written for build 38, so that might be a few of you peoples problems.

I,m using Se1.5.1 and it went in fine for me.
The link inthe admin center to "add more smiles" doesn't work, but then it doesn't have to as they are added instantly.
I would just like to tweak the window that opens with the extra smilies in...

I want to get rid of the text that goes with each smilie.
Is it possible to do this?

Cool Mod 8)

One thing I was goinf to ask though, when you click on smileywin script and it opens the pop-up window is there a line of code I can add to make the window stay on top?

I had a play with window.focus() but couldn't get it to behave as I wanted.
The reason I ask, many members currently like to selct a number of smileys from the smileywin window and because it keeps losing focus they have to keep clicking the window to open each time.

Any tips would be really appreciated ;)

this is a much needed function in Yabb, and the only reason stopping me updating to RC42 is this Mod!

I take it you are using the read directory function? Well, that takes the name of the file and uses it as the text and the description (minus the .gif/.jpg or whatever).

I'm pretty sure there is javascript in YaBB preventing this, but I'll take a looksee later today. I'll also make it for RC42.

I know! That's why I don't understand how some people get errors. Maybe they aren't using RC38 like this mod was written with.  ;)

How do i find out exactly what version/build i am using.
I know its 1.5.1 but other than that i dont?

It's me again. ;)

I've got RC42, and this mod worked perfectly for it, as I said in the last page.. ;) ;D So don't let that stop you from upgrading! Manually editing the files, I was able to get it to work fine. Only problem I had was with the auto-chmod used when creating the smilies folder :D

GWP, you should be able to go into your ADMIN section, and under 'Miscellaneous', should be something like this:

Your Version/Current Version: YaBB SE 1.5.1RC1/YaBB SE 1.5.0

As for finding the specific build of your install, I'm not sure. :-\

Yeah but I'm not releasing another version of smilies until 1.5.1 is out of Beta.

But you can do it yourself though! :)

In Smilies.php, search for:
Code Select

<BODY bgcolor="' . $color[windowbg2] . '">


and replace with:
Code Select

<BODY bgcolor="' . $color[windowbg2] . '" onblur="this.focus();">


That'll do it :)

heuuuu...  I am not able to install the mod on 1.5.1 RC44...  I get this error on step 11 (with BoardMOD):

Well, I serached manually for that and I found it.

I dunno, the string has probably changed in someway (blank spaces). You'll have to install it yourself, cause I'm not updating this again 1.5.1 is out of Beta.
