He guys.

Like the album mod, but the bugs not.

New Version in near future?

Bugs I have notice:
- javascript error in IE when click in textfield (fixed by deleting the attributes, which call the store.caret functions (what the hell they are doing? without it the textfields are ok and work fine)
- the message, that appears, if you make a comment (you are using illegal copy of Yabbse) - have read, thats some other guys have same problems, i tried to find the function, that puts out this wrong message, but not founded
- the sort-functions don't work (with small albums not bad, but if album exceeds 200 pics and more it is very important)
- the directory-readout of pics (search new pictures function) don't work:

I'm sure you know that problems from other album-freaks and I won't getting on your nerves, but I would be very very happy about the album 1.0 Gold.

The .js files upload in binary? Why? Its not compiled or something like that.

However, i tried but the js - error still exists.

I changed permission to guest, so you can test it.

Try make comments - when clicking in text-fields a js-error results. Or when you have made a comment the "illegal copy"-message appears.

PS: I just see, that guests seems to have no problem with the js-bug.

u're right, there's a js error
i'll change the textbox with a yse-like textarea in the next version
also using yse smilies

about the copyright error, download the new .mod file: http://www.immortalshades.com/spaceman/gallery/GalleryMod_ModFile_v0.97_yse1.5.1.zip
it should fix that problem
and u'll need to add <yabb gallerycopyright> right before <yabb copyright> in your template

now, about coppermine 1.1.x thats a lot different than 1.0RCs
i'm still thinking wether i should throw away the modded RC3 and start with 1.1
or take some neat features of 1.1.x and apply them to the current mod

pro & cons of 1.1.0:
- pro: strings aren't hardcoded, so a multiple language support can be done
- cons: member feature, RC3 didnt come with member feature, ppl can only post as guests, which makes it easier to integrate with YSE. now it has its own member system, including registration & login, and it will be harder to integrate (i'll have to remove all those member stuff)

i haven't tested the new gallery myself and i cant seem to find a changelog/new features list
if anyone have tested it, pls list the new features, thx

u'll need to uninstall the previous .mod file first, install this new one, then add <yabb gallerycopyright> in your forum template, right before <yabb copyright>

Have do this 2 times, but the problem still exist.

Seems to me, that your controll-variables have communication-problems. Need to declare it global?

I tune arround it, to locate the problem.

The problem with the wrong error-message start somewhere here in db_input.php:

$USER['name'] = $HTTP_POST_VARS['msg_author'];
$meta = "<META http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"1;url=$HTTP_REFERER\">";

The "$HTTP_REFERER" variable routes to nowhere. Changing it to "index.php" will solve the problem.

"index.php" is used in all the codes for good reason, because this value never change.

The js-error can solved by deleting all "store.caret" calling attributes.

I think my album runs good now. But in near future I need the sort-function .

The called "author_id" not exist! The name in the sql-table is "msg_author".
You will see the error if you try to delete your own comment with no-admin-rights. Changing the "author_id" to "msg_author" will fix the problem.
