i can't see any box to tick , i just can see index of smiledbmod.php  then when i click the link in that page nothing happend, smiledbmod.php  reload in the same page and did't go to second page

i have a problem with ADD MORE SMILES 1.6

When i add a smile it doesn't appair in the smile control panel and in the post windows either

I read the instruction carefully, i run smiliesdbmod.php once and i got an error for the first insert (talbe already present) then before to add a smile i upload it in the image folder and then i add it using the right name but noting appair.

I have yabbse 1.5.0 installed and i'm using Smiles SE 1.6

When I click on installed Mods and Settings, I'm getting:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '=' in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/myboard.com/httpdocs/yabbse/Sources/ModSettings.php on line 48

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: modifymodsettings() in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/myboard.com/httpdocs/yabbse/index.php on line 307

Any idea of what's going on?  I got no errors during the install.

I run the the smiliesdbmod.php again to be sure and i obtained this:

Error updating the DB. SQL Error: Table 'gamevolution4_smilies' already exists
Error updating the DB. SQL Error: Duplicate entry 'vbsmiliesEnable' for key 1
Error updating the DB. SQL Error: Duplicate entry 'blockEnable' for key 1
Error updating the DB. SQL Error: Duplicate entry 'orderEnable' for key 1
Error updating the DB. SQL Error: Duplicate entry 'hdetach' for key 1
Error updating the DB. SQL Error: Duplicate entry 'wdetach' for key 1

while the first time i just got:

Error updating the DB. SQL Error: Table 'gamevolution4_smilies' already exists
other lines were OK

how can i fix the problem of the previous post?

I nthe page installed mod and setting i noticed these lines are now present:

Show vB Style Smiley Display?  
Enable Smiley Block?  
Enable Smiley Order Change?  
Height of Smiley Popup Window:  
Width of Smiley Popup Window:  


what's that for? ( Enable Smiley Block? )

Wha!? What version of PHP are you using? I've no idea why you can't see anything...

Well of course that's going to happen when you keep running smiliesdbmod.php! You only have to run it once. Fortunitly I made it much harder to do thios with Smilies 2.0. Use it, not 1.6

i'm using PHP Version 4.2.3

Just as a little bit of an FYI, in order to get this mod to work the FIRST time, on one of the older versions, I had to delete the table that it says is a duplicate. I deleted it, ran the mod, and everything worked perfectly.

If nothing else works for you, my suggestion is to delete the table, and then re-run the mod. But only as a last resort

I'm running Yabb 1.5.1 and Add Smiles 2.0.  Yes I did run smiliesdbmod.php.  Would running it again help?

I'm having similar probs with the same specs.

I ran the db installer, made all the changes via boardmod, uploaded the changed files and it's as if I didn't do a thing. No extra button, nothing! The table does exist in the db, and all the modified files are larger than the orginals...

Least it doesn't affect the running of my board... but it's so weird!

Fortunately for me Nate, no one is on this board just yet.  It is so difficult to get support for almost anything YaBBSE related, I almost afraid to use it.  So far the only thing to it's credit is its' speed - but the betamax is superior technlolgy as well.  But where is it now?

What's stopping you reverting back to the old files? Then your problems go away. I think YabbSE kicks ass personally.

Well i added this mod to my 1.5.1 board and had  a problem with the DB program so I ran the remove db option deleted the smilies folder and tried again, this time I didn't use the create folder option and I made the folder myself in my ftp program and it works like a charm (Great Job)

So for me the problem was getting the database program to make the folder, so id advise not clicking that option.
