If you have the add 3 secret smiley mod installed then unistall it or modify the mod script to include the additional three lines of code from post.php (I think) that reference them.

***Addendum ***

These *are* the lines to remove from Post.php for it to work properly PRIOR to running the mod.

After around 3+ hours working on the Smilies mod it is finally complete for a 1.5.0 install!
My code is not written prettily, as just trying to get it to work was my first priority. When I do get around to an update of the mod (after the 17th of this month - after my college tests) I will code this much better. Anyway, you have what you want so see the first post for the link to download the mod. Let me know how you get on, as I was only able to test the mod on my machiene but all went well for me.
By the way, I removed the YaBBPak mod as I can't support it anymore. It works for some people, but not for others. And it's been gone over enough times in this thread anyway. I'm sure it's no big loss, all you need is Boardmod.

Ps. Hope my Karma goes up a bit for this!  

Installed and works fine. I got some SQL errors but I guess it was because I had a previous version installed.

No problem. Hopefully Friday I'll try update the code somewhat, it could be much better. (I get a break of 3 days before my next test so I'll have a little free time)

Lol. I've had a good few people IM me and email about problems installing the Smilies mod. I'm going to update the file tomorrow as I have a break from my tests and my hardest subject is finished now (It went quite well).
I'll see if I find any errors then.

Have not tried to install it yet.  Just snagged it for my library.  Am awaiting 1.51.  Although, so far, after installation of the bug fix for 1.5 Unknown developed it seems to be stable.  Am just cautious about modding it at all though.  Afraid to break it. *grin*

Once I installed the new smileys mod for 1.5.0, all my old smileys that I had installed/uploaded for 1.4.1 were already up and in there.

Good good, but I definitly advise installing this latest release. Some people seem to have a problem with the "add more smilies" link being missing, but even when I was doing this update I never found that problem!
Anyway see the first post to know what's new, but you really should upgrade.

1979Z28, that's because the smilies are stored in the database. When you upgraded, Yabb se never edited or deleted any tables the smiliesdbmod.php put up there.

I attempted to install with BoardMod, and kept getting this error message on Step 2:

Error Code 12:
Message: The line to search for is not comlete. Maybe some spaces are missing in front of it.

Which, according to the BoardMod readme, means:

BoardMod was able to find the code to search for, however it has detected that the search string does not begin at line start.

But BoardMod only allows the search string to be one or more COMPLETE lines.

Possible reasons and solutions:

(1) The author forgot the rule, that only searching for complete lines is possible with BoardMod. Please contact him about this problem. You may try to install the mod "by hand" (see Error 1: Solution 3).

I am installing the mod again for 1.5, having already installed it under 1.4.1. The db is untouched, so there are no duplicate settings. Will the next release fix this, and make the link to Add Smilies visible?

Are you telling me the above string isn't in your YaBB SE 1.5.0? It sure as hell is in mine. And the invisible text problem, what the hell is with that? It's perfectly visible for me.
