make sure you uploaded the chat.gif to your YaBBImages folder, that you put the proper links in English.php, and that you inserted the $yymenu link to chat in Subs.php.

my chat.gif is in YabbImages directory.
there's a proper link in italian.lng (I hope you mean .lng not .php)
$yymenu link to chat is inserted correctly in Subs.php

Can I ask you to view my personal forum at the follow address? http://www.varesestore.it/community/yabbse
Look carefully the white headline under the buttons...

Tnx

Well, I solved my problem by myself.
I think that BoardMod doen't work properly because it didn't do some important changes to Subs.php or ModSettings.php for example...

Anyway there's always the headline under the buttons which doesn't work... see it for believe...

Then I wanna know how to add the italian language to modsettings.php

And finally, how are the chat functions? I mean, how can I admin it? Choosing moderators/operators etc...

glad you're making progress.  sometimes Boardmod doesn't update the "modded" files.  i always check the time and date to make sure they were modified when you made the changes, before uploading them back to the server.

about the users online tag below your menu, you'll need to register the chatroom and put the correct name and format in the users online tag before that will work.  that's something you do from the chat control panel (see below).

on adding Italian to Modsettings.php, after looking at Chat.php, it seems the language parameter is something they load from the server side of the chat client.  therefore, i think you'll have to get them (brodle) to add Italian before you can change that in your modsettings and make it work.

to administer the chat functions, just use the icons in the upper left hand corner of the screen....

those two should bring up most of the options you need to set.  let me know.

That's fine, thank you a lot!
My final problem: i've registered my chat room as owner, but I change my nick from owner to member.
The problem now is that I cannot administrate my chat.
What can I do to come back? Can anyone do this change?

log in with the owner nick, open controls, and make your new nick an owner.

hmm...so when you log in with the owner nick, it doesn't recognize you as an owner?

if all else fails, you can register a new room with the new nick of your choice.  make a backup owner in case something happens.  i did something like that once...made the channel invite only, then left the room and couldn't get back in.  hahahahha

I was the owner, but in the room register panel I set my nickname as member and it made me a member and no more owner, so that i cannot access to the admin function...

Anyway, no problem! I've registered a new room.

This link doen't work: <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript" src="http://www.everywherechat.com/users.asp?room=Varese_Store"></script>
This link, however, works: <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript" src="http://www.everywherechat.com/members.asp?room=Varese_Store"></script>

Can you tell me why?

went to your site, and it shows there are "0" users in chat.  that's the output of the first link, so it seems to work.

the second link will show the names of the members, but since there are no members in the room, it shows nothing.

when you go to the room and you're the only one in there, it won't show you as being in there, because you haven't yet logged in at the time your page finishes loading.  if you click somewhere else, it disconnects your chat link, and also will then show no member names.

have you tried logging into chat, then opening a new browser to see if it shows your name in there?
