[Beta 1.5.1RC1 & 1.4.1] Photo Gallery Mod

This is a great mod, but I'm going to have to use photopost or something just because of the security issue.  That is people being able to post pictures in other albums.  The other thing is people can't delete their own pictures.  I'm going to hack this thing tonight to see if I can come up with something, but I'm an amateur at this so we'll see. hehe

PS - Thanks for the mod.  I love it.

those are not security issues, the script just wasn't designed to let ppl restrict albums based on the creator/membergroups
the script is pretty safe, it handles and cleans post and get data even better than YSE imo
i might add features like those in the future

That behavior is not the mod, is the gallery itself

this allows users to be defined with permissions etc. Just not Yabb friendly yet

this is a nice mod!

I noticed a "typo" or something not in the coppermine demos is where you have the date it was uploaded
"Picture uploaded by onsforum on Today at 01:43:07am"

there should be an "if($STATEMENT) else" for that "on today" part telling it not to print "on" if the value is today for the date.

2. Give members a limit to upload?

3. Make the gallery online readable for members only?

not yet, i'm gonna try to add this feature in the next release due to the popular demand

There's a size limit for each image, but not number of images limit

if u block guest access (disalow guest to do anything) in the forum, it will affect the gallery, but there's no option yet if the gallery is restricted to register users only
i might add this in the next version

btw, i wont start doing the next version before nov 22nd

Yep, but also needs a validation in code, so even if someone types the url, it checks if is a member, and denies if not.

Finally, a gallery!

I'm having a problem.  It's showing it can't access all the Source files like subs.php, errors.php, etc.  

I'm not sure I added the correct location on that string that says "change /gallery" to the location of your script.  What is an example of what that should look like, or tell me what else might be causing this?

u need to install the gallery in a subdirectory of your forum
u dont need to change the other directory settings if u dont move the directories around inside the gallery directory
for albums, just keep it as 'albums/'
and userpics: 'userpics/'

I have the same deal, except I had to include the full path to get it to work.  Also, it shows the copyright warning, and the page is unformatted....still working...

are u sure that u installed it in a subdirectory of your forum?
meaning, if your forum is at: www.yourserver.com/forum
then install the gallery at: www.yourserver.com/forum/gallery/

if u did that, and still having problems, pls leave the url to your gallery here, or IM it to me

i checked Thunderace's forum, and it seems that he's using YSE 1.3.0
im not sure yet if that could be the problem...
