I really hope this hasn't been answered... but skimming through 20 pages, I may have missed it.  How do I use board mod to install it?  I can't use YaBBPacks because it is disabled on my server, and I can't seem to work the board mod.  I read the readme file for board mod but it said that I needed to get an offline version of my site and find the yabb.pl file... i can't find it, can anyone help me?

Download the folder of your forum... And choose browse as if you were to find the yabb.pl file and in the filetype popup select major scripting file then choose your folder's index.php file.

And make sure the smniley.mod file is in the mods/yabb se 1.4.0/ folder withing the boardmod folder... hope this helps!

You dont understand. When I type in the code for the smilie that I want to come up, only the code comes up!!

You installed this mod using the yabbpak, right? Well the problem has been talked about several times and fixed in this thread. Why not search before you post?
Anyway you'll have to download yours subs.php file; open it up, and add the last two steps as given in smilies.mod, for some reason the yabbpak doesn't always add the last 2 steps.

In the next version. You can edit the size of the window already, but there was a mistake in the smilies javascript to make it resizeable.

Have you already installed mods? Have you tried installing something manually? Your original code has been edited, and therefore smilies cannot find the code. Either that or you did something wrong.

I just did what that guy told me to do.  And I haven't installed any mods... maybe you didn't notice I asked HOW to install a mod just a little up.  I may have done something wrong... what would be wrong because of steps 9 and 11?

Alright, I need some help with this.
People assume we are experts with MySQL or phpmyadmin.  Some of us are using this as their learning experience...  Can someone give step by step instructions using phpmyadmin for removing the extra tables the mod creates on a failed install?  I'm having the issue of the code showing, not the smilie, and I can't add smilies.  I assume its because of the screwed up tables...

You can add a b-jillion smilies if you want. You can only add 5 at one time. Then the next five etc.

No idea, unless you didn't download the files, I really can't help you. You are using YaBB SE 1.4.0 right?

People, if you have a problem please read at least the previous page to see if your problem has already been solved. Otherwise wait for Smilies 1.6, which will have the ability to upgrade through smiliesdbmod.php, and remove the tables, if you need to reinstall them.

Yes I figured out what was going on.  I had to delete some of the tables and reinstall the mod.  I don't mean it only lets me add 5 at a time, I mean it only lets me add 5, PERIOD.  And just to be clear, I'm talking about the Administrator pages link for "Add More Smilies"

I add 5 smilies.  I go do other things.  I log out.  A couple days later I try to add some more.  No go.  It won't add any more than the 5 I already added.
