Here is a though, when somebody enters the wrong password, it logs it into the forums error log unencrypted which means the admin could see what the password is because it wasn't encrypted. This is bad for instance, if I typed in my password but was 1 character off, the admin might be able to easily guess my password, and if my password was the same for not only the message board but other things as well, this could be a very serious problem.(No, my passwords are different for different things but it is still a bit of a security risk for people that are foolish enough to make all their passwords the same.)

Yes.. I was thinking to tell this for sometime but always forget... Indeed, they incorrect password shouldn't be displayed to the user at all..

That password display I won't change...

No chat for 1.4...

File attachment bug?  I'd need FTP to look at what is happening there...

Make it faster?  Not for 1.4 although SE 2 you will see some very large differences...

I remember another bug that has been a problem for a few people. If you try to turn off sticky topics in your admin center then when you try to open topics it says "This topic does not exist on board x" where x is usually a random number and not the actual number of the board the topic is in.

How about changing the way IP's are logged? At the moment it gets REMOTE_ADDR I think it would be better if it looked for HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR (netapps and squid caches) and HTTP_CLIENT_IP (inktomi caches) so you can ban individuals and not whole ISP caches...

Yabb gold changed it to work like that....

Would be nice to have that back again...

Oh how about getting rid of the mod list from the tree menu thing as if you have a lot of mods, it can grow quite long....

It is a very easy thing to add and would be appreciated by many people.  If you have the time I would seriously consider putting it into thei release.
