[Done 1.4.0] New Instant Messages Alert Box

Can you update this to work with 1.4.1? I hate to do stuff by hand unless it's one of my own mods.

It should work for 1.4.1. That's what I'm running, and I was able to manually do it without any problems.

i am really having trouble here, i got the php script to run effectivly, but where do i put the mod file to make it appear in the mod center? sorry i am such a n00b , but you all are so kind to lend your wisdom!

hey i am new to all this, but all i did was edit the source code to implement my own instant messaging "pop up alert" with version 1.4.1.

really simple like 8 lines of code.

Please post the mod for installing this on 1.4.1

As I said earlier, just use the file that's already around here. I'm running 1.4.1, and I was able to get it to work perfectly

OK.

1) This didn't work at all.
2) It removed the ability to stay loggedin forever.

I use YaBB SE 1.4.1 and I think I did everything right.

Anyone experienced this??

well, i had to manually step through boardmod cause of one of the steps...so i did that and am pretty sure everything was done properly...then i ran the php file and it created the tables successfully...

however, the subs page is causing my whole forum to not display...it reports something about a parse error in subs.php (line 1240 which is the very last line) and an index.php (display) error...anyone having this problem?

Anybody know if this'll work for 1.5.0? I'm about to download it and edit the correct files for it, but before I upload stuff it'd be nice to know if someone else has gotten it to work for 1.5.0

no, doesn't work for 1.5.0. i used it fine for 1.4.1 and am waiting for a 1.5.0 update.

If the author switched to InvisionBoard, that means he probably won't be making a 1.5.0 version.

Be sure to download the original 1.4.0 file, and update your MySQL database with the PHP update thing before you apply this, the database updater seems to still work, also I had [Unknown]'s bugfix installed on my forum when I altered this to work.

Also, I was copying and pasting source to source, I didn't use BoardMod or whatever it's called, When I was done making out the differences, I copied back over to the .mod file, If I missed something please IM me and I'll try to correct it, other than that it seems to work fine on my forum.

Will that work with YaPP 0.6? I don't have board Mod, will it work if I edit the files manually?
