Hello,

i just got back from my vacation last week
now trying to catchup with my classes, since i skipped the 1st week of school
i have a lot of reading too to do here
v1.5 looks nice, i'll have to try it in the near future
this gallery topic has gone 15 pages
dunno if i could keep track for the stuffs that are need to be fixed
gotta check the boardmod site (if its done) and the new mods too

There isn't much to do to upgrade it to v1.5.
I fixed mine where it works. It's just the array action in the index.php that needs to be changed.

It would be nice, although I don't know if it's possible to have each user be able to lock his or her own Gallery. Not from viewing, but from uploads. So far it hasn't been an issue (we just got started), but the question and concern has been raised by a Board Member. I had to handle it like this ...

It turns out that I was wrong about your albums
Any user (that's you guys)
Can upload to any of your albums
It seems that only I have the Authority to lock an album.
I read it in the help file for the administrator ...

"Allow user uploads

When you create a new album, you can choose to allow or disallow user uploads. If you choose "Yes", everyone is allowed to upload pictures to that album. If you choose "No", only people with admin password can upload to that album."

I thought that you guys see what I see,
which is this ...

Someday there may be a fix for this situation.
But for now, assuming that everyone would like having
their own personal album, with their own pictures in it,
instant message me when an accident occurs.
As the administrator,
I can always move pictures into their intended album

I know what you mean. It has been requested before, and  I think it will be a good idea to restrict the album for yourself only. I'll wait till YSE1.51 is final, then I'll start working on the mod again.

The next errors I see when I open the index.php:

You might want to delete 2 of the 3 exact post you've made.

Anyway...go to www.yoursite.com/yabbse/gallery/
Or whereever you have your gallery installed in your board folder and see if it is working. If it is...this is just the array action in the index.php the reason why it isn't working. Don't worry about adding anything into the index.php and check out my post on page 14 of this topic.
If you don't see gallery when you go to it. You don't have it installed correctly.
I have it working with 1.5

Oke, I have trying the solutions in your other post on page 14 but, the same error stays. Yes I can see the gallery when i login tot index.php, but thats all.
The error is a parse error .

I will try a new complete installation.

I wasn't talking about if you can see it when you login to index.php....I asked can you see it  when you goto http://yoursite.com/yabbse/gallery
If you can....there is no reason to reinstall.
You just need to make sure you did not put anything into the index.php file of your board. The only thing that needs editing is the Subs.php file...
