Quote from: djMostly on January 22, 2003, 06:36:07 AMokay, here's another issue for ya...

during theupgrade.php process at continue=2 i get this error way down at the bottom of a bunch of successful data inserts:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 2 bytes) in /usr/www/users/ozma/yabbse/upgrade.php on line 203

I think it is because your host has a 8 Mb memory usage limit, but I'm not 100% sure with this (more like 10% :) )

I used the new UPDGRADE.php, and still i've got the login trouble. There is a cookiename, so that's not the problem, i also reset my cookies on my computer, but that doesn't work either.

Maybe someone can take a look:

Maybe a bit offtopic but can someone explain what the function Local Storage of cookies implies, I don't know whether I should enable it or not. So far everything is working OK without this option enabled, but I am just curious how it works.

This in follow-up of toppertjes login problems

Storing cookies locally allows them to only be accessed inside the yabbse folder. It's basically a security option. You can probably enable it unless you use SSI.php or similar scripts to access parts of your forum elsewhere on your website.

Well, I've just upgraded and everything seems to have gone fine except for one tiny MySQL error which I'm not going to bother about here till I've double-checked if it's already been covered. But can anyone tell me why there are two sets of the on, off, new_some and new_none images (I had to take a look at these and think about what I was doing because I've customised mine) and whether any of these (new_some or new_none?) are duplicated with different text among the many foreign language images that seem to have appeared?

Yep, it was the 'Multiple primary key defined' thing already reported by Larry Laffer and commented on by Jeff. But I definitely only ran upgrade.php once, I can't see anything wrong with the board and I'm hoping it's self-fixing as suggested by both Jeff and the text 'Fixing Settings.php...'

Multiple image/language support was added in 1.5.1.  The extra set of images correspond to the images that /should/ go in the spanish and german directories off of YaBBImages.

I would redo that survey some and explain in the desired features section what some of those things are.  For example, not everyone knows what CMS is.  I would add dcforum to the list of forums people have switched from.  That would include me.  Larry

toppertje your board must be using an old version of LogInOut.php.

First off your cookies you are setting have no name and the way they are being sent looks very familiar to the way it happened in old versions. Make sure you've updated all the php files to 1.5.1 versions.
