Would be better if the "split" button is only shown,
when there is at lest 1 reply, no?

I've the same problem! After login - when I click on a button like Administration or Profile - I'm automically be logged out!

I can only read the posts but i can't login as Admin or as a other user!!!

I've this problem since I upgraded to 1.5.1RC1B38!!!

My Sql-Version: MySQL 3.23.54
PHP-Version: 4.0.6

The reason might be your PHP-Version 4.0.6. The newer board versions require PHP 4.1.

I have the same problem on a Forum where I have upgraded. And I cannot change myself the PHP version.

So I must change Forum program?  :(

(I have other YaBBSE forums, but with 1.4 version)

Check in Bugs 1.5.0 about cookies , a post says about old versions of php and cookies.. basically, is to change _COOKIES for HTTP_VARS_COOKIES (or something like that...)

A gu had the same problem using a old version of php, and then it worked wiothout any problem.

If you have a period (.) in your cookie name that could cause a problem trying to stay logged in, I know it did for me :-\

Okay, THX very much!

Have a nice day,
plugin ;)

PS:
About the "split" button:
Wouldn't it be better, when the button is unter all posts,
next to the "sticky", "merge" ... buttons?
And is only shown if there is at least 1 reply?

THX! ;)

Have been trying to get 1-5-1RC1B38 installed  (off and on) for several days with no success.

After login, click on Admin and it swiches to Guest.

OS: RedHat Linux 7.3
PHP: 4.1.2
MySql: 4.23.49

Safe_mode: off
Sessions: Enabled

Browser allows cookies and security is set at medium.

Thanks in advance. 8)

Ya having split on each post is too much especially since there is no way to disable it.
