[Beta 1.5.1RC1 & 1.4.1] Photo Gallery Mod

Inside Boardmods folder you'll find a folder called "mods"

When you.ve clicked into there make sure there is a folder with the Version of your board (ie if you are running 1.4.1 there should be a folder called 1.4.1)

Click into the folder 1.4.1 and add the mod file (it will be named .mod)

Click back in at the beginning of your Boardmod folder to find the "Boardmod" icon (blue smilie) double click on it.

Choose browse...then choose the folder on your desktop where your boards current files are..in there single click to select the index.php file (same area as Settings.php)

On the right hand side top you can now choose 1.4.1 (folder)

Tick the name of the mod you're applying then follow the instructions.

I downloaded BoardMod ver 2.5.1 beta and no folder for 1.4.1.

I have the coppermine working but no links in YaBBSE for the header graphic, link button in YaBBSE or bottom graphics - otherwise seems to work.

Try copying your template.html into gallery folder

Actually there is no template.html. I would figure an html page with php in it would not fuction correctly. In the Subs.php file find this line :

if (!file_exists($templateFile))
      $templateFile = $boarddir."/template.html";
And change it to this:

Code Select Expand

if (!file_exists($templateFile))
      $templateFile = $boarddir."./template.php";
Just that simple.
In older post I noticed everyone was trying to figure this out. No need to have 2 of the same file on your server.

I have coppermine working. I do not have the header graphic or the graphics in the footer from my YaBBSE in the Gallery. I also do not have a link button in my YaBBSE for the Gallery.

Otherwise everything seems to be working...

Did you do put this <yabb galleryMenu> after <yabb menu> in the template.php file?

Yes and I have triple checked...

open your mod up in a text editor and check all the steps against your index.php, Subs.php and english.lng files to see it the mod installed correctly. You may have to do it by hand.

try this it worked for me...

In "Forum Prefs" change Yabb Directory (Only) to full path e.g. /var/www/vhosts/mysite.com/httpdocs/yabbse

It seems you are already using the full path  

I was using "." as the Yabb Directory, the board was working but Gallery didn't show header and footer, changed Yabb Directory to full path and it worked.

Only problem I still have to fix - everything else works...

Appreciate any help I can get - I have fixed all my other problems

Iam having the same issue with my header graphics and footer graphics as well as my recent posts block....I am using YaPP...mad moya over at YaPP got his working, but I am having problems understanding his directions....maybe you can give some insight:

Also, I have the full path to YaBB in my settings, so thunderace's suggestion may not be enough.
