I think Addons sound good. Because everyone knows what is an Add-On. But very less people know what a MOD is.

YabbOns - that's pretty original.
and after a while people will get used to it, brings that extra to Yabb and it's uniqueness.

Mod is a tradition and most of us really like this name :)
And another thing: all BBs call this type of packs "hacks", mod is properly of YaBB :)

Yes, brings extra embarrassment to YaBB. (no offence intended)
Don't know what's wrong with mod.
Probably next is changing YaBB to SNuGGleBoard.
