Question:

Should i have permission problems while installing this mod (and others)?
Because as i install i am given errors of denied permissions.
I then change the permissions and try the mod again.
This is obviously what is causing me to install more than once.

Is this normal?  Or am i jacked?

Idea.

Instead of storing the code in a new table just use sessions.

When generating the code
$_SESSION['reg_code'] = the code;

Then check it
if($_SESION['reg_code'] == entered code)

I used this one as part of 1.5.4 supermod but have had to disable it. The graphics for the code does not show up for all users. My new mebership figures dropped from >5 per day to zero !

I then disabled it and the new memberships came straight back again.

At work I'm running IE6 on win2k pro server with proxy cache and every other thing our IT department could dream up.
The graphics refuse to show themselves to me.

Here's one for you. drummercafe.com, he is running a earlier version of PHP and I suspect that is the problem. He has the feature disabled but If you want to work with him, his name is Bartman on my site. I dont know what the contact information is for these other guys who is having this same problem. Let me know what I can do to assist you.

I have the same problem. I also installed it with the supermod - please, where can I disable it?
