Or do you mean the forum that Eric is working on (and Chris) that they plan to put into YaPP? I thought I saw a post over there where they made it public?

v.6.2 will use YaBB SE v1.5.1, and after that YaPP (or whatever new name they give it) will be using their own forum software... at least that's what I can gather from their posts on their site.

Which is why (to bring it back on topic), I'm working on PfaBB as a port from YaPP, so us YaBB SE fans will still have something that works great for US! :)

Now if I could just convince my host to kick the MySQL server so my site would load.... :(

Very nice Chris!  I'm sorry that I didnt know that already, I must have missed that post, where ever it is  :-\

Yes, Pfabb is great for me for the simple fact that my Yabbse board is so weighted down with members who are all snug and cozy, to move to another type of forum would just really piss them off (thats putting it nice too)

MM, that does make alot of sense now when you say it, from the bits and pieces I've seen-  especially seeing the actual project from some link I saw, at least I THINK that is their project.  Oh, that forum that (allegedly) is theirs, its extremely fast!  But it was empty yet, havent seen it under any load.

Yes there is a post over there where we made xbb public. We decided to make it public since posting was finished on it.

If you want the link it is:
xbb.agigames.com (temp url because we plan to rename it... and I doubt I will always host it at agigames.com).
Admins/Moderators:
You can erase this link if you feel it isn't needed.

As for me... I don't even use YaPP and yet I was a dev of it, and I will not be using XBB myself either and yet I dev it.

I am still partial to YaBBSE and give all my credit to YaBBSE for getting me into message boards, and giving me a reason to learn php/mysql. :)

Allegedly? Heh I'm sure it's theirs :) It's still in development, is still fairly bare from what I could see and is hardly being hit.

However, Chris is a good coder and I'm sure it will be a decent forum...

Just to bring the thread back on topic... yes PfaBB is in alpha testing now, but my main site is down completely at the moment due to... heck, I'm not sure what those id10ts are doing at my host anymore. :)

I'm probably looking for a new host now, so if anyone has any suggestions. :)
