I believe that is the case for everybody.

I don;t believe we'll need a new fix for just that issue, though. ;)

Hi,

I'm still using 1.50 but I'm planning to move my forum to another server anyway.

Do I need to do go through all the update procedures first or can I just dump my 1.50 database and use it with a freshly installed 1.52 on the new server ? (I don't know if the updates from 1.50 to 1.52 are altering the mysql database somehow)

- download 1.5.2 upgrade package
- dump the 1.5.0 database to the new server
- upload all of the old files, overwrite them with the new files in upgrade package
- run upgrade.php

I have yabbse 1.4.1 installed (http://duxcw.com/yabbse/index.html).  I also have several mods installed.  The principle ones are the speed and chat mods.  I can handle the chat mod if there is a current mod for it, but I believe the speed mod did something to the database... indexing or something like that.  I've been through this thread and most of the posts in the 1.5.1 and I am confused.  Please, briefly tell me how to upgrade to 1.5.2.  Larry

The speed mod is included in 1.5.1.

The chat mod is available for 1.5.1.

if i'm not mistaken, you can just download 1.5.2 upgrade package and use that
no need to upgrade to 1.5.1 first, since the upgrade.php is included in 1.5.2 package and there's no db update between 1.5.1 and 1.5.2

Thank you... Understand, but I am starting with 1.4.1 with the speed mod installed.  Sorry, I am still confused and don't want to mess-up the database, etc. or have the forum down long...  I guess I could set the whole thing up locally on my Linux box and experiment, but that would take a lot of time...  There are probably others like myself who passed on 1.5.0/1 until things became more stable.  How does one upgrade 1.4.1 with the speed mod installed to 1.5.2?  Larry
