I couldnt figure where else to post this, please move if this is the wrong place

i need to get my ssi.php working again after the upgrade.

1st the recent topics include does not work. just shows 3 lines

2nd i need to get the news to work. last time i needed to combine the news with the ssi because microsoft IIS servers wont do php includes like in the example.

could someone help me?

what other info is needed?

I upgraded from 1.4.1 to 1.5.1
and I had trouble with the yabbse_log_topics  table

now the "new" icon doesn't appear anymore.

i think i am getting close to having the news to work. it seems to be showing the board with an error message instead:

2: setlocale() [function.setlocale]: Passing locale category name as string is deprecated. Use the LC_* -constants instead.
(C:\Inetpub\ftphosted\iwaters\yabbse\News.php ln 44)

if i comment out that line i get hacking attempt.

You didn't upload the new version of News.php.  That was fixed in 1.5.1.

dejavu, please post in the support boards.  Make sure you updated your language files.

Well mine noticed too,
and before  the pages didn't load at all on heavy traffic
for now it seems to work much better

Make sure you have set up a quote class in your template.

dejavu, did you update your language files?  Please try a detailed version check.  If that doesn't solve your problem, please post in a support board with a link.

Updated from Build 45 and not a problem

However I though id just mention something.
I ran the detailed version  check and all my files are up to date other than this one.
Your language file (v. YaBB SE 1.5.1RC1) is not the most recent (v. YaBB SE 1.5.1).

not sure which language file its refering to as I uploaded "all" files.
