Well I finished the register for the index page. It requires VB style logins to be disabled in the admin center.

Depending on what settings you have for users registering this mod may look different, because it will use the user registering settings in the admin center.

Download it from http://www.agigames.com/boardmod/register.zip

It adds a register field to the index page of your board, just like the login one that is already there. Except this one is for registering.(and yes it will work even if you have e-mail member their passwords activated.)

Well I think this Index Register Mod will display only just in the first page..  don't want to interfere with this, but you may look at my QuickRegister mod for the feature like talk.phptalk.com  ::)

Mine isn't like that one, mine displays at the bottom with the login functions(assuming VB Syle loggins are disabled). I personally don't like that style as much so I guess mine gives users a choice of which one they think looks the best.

It is not only in first page. Since it uses template.php not an html file take a close look such that:

1- If you click on register button it disappears.

2- If you click on login buton it disappears.

3- If you logon it disappears.

4- Otherwise it is all the time there, in all categories and boards.

Then it requires additional global variables in subs.php file so that it behaves assording to action=something.

Thanks.

Slightly off topic i know, but where did you get the mod (on your phptalk.com forum) that lets you know who has been online for past 72 hours.
I have been looking for this for ages, even tried to get the Yabb SP1 people to write it for me.

I have been looking for this feature too! Is there such a mod available?
