To show a thread, this site is using a shorter url than the normal one.

Like:
http://www.yabbse.org/community/index.php?thread=26383

Without a "board=x;action=display" etc.

Is there anyway to implement a such thing on a IIS Server.


PS: I've already checked the mods by Anguz.

basically the problem my mod has with IIS is that the lookback won't work like in Apache, so you do need the ? there

look for $arr2_friendly and change the replace to a format that IIS can work with... pretty much like the one here

I know what it can work with... it's crap :P.  I use it and admit it :P.

I'd recommend you look at one the topic here about it, or just wait for SMF....

All the methods of doing it are crummt compared to the way SMF does it ;).

I can wait for SMF, but migrating to it will be really difficult: I have dozens of mods and hacks installed.. ::)
And I also have a YaBB SE-PDA friendly setup which required days of coding :(..

Not so much, but it will be useful. It would be nice to have running YSE and SMF contemporanely on the same DB ::)
