Problem With Deleting Posts

YaBB SE Version: 1.5.4
PHP Version: 4.3.2
MySQL Version: 4.0.x
Server Platform: Unix, Linux, or BSD

Problem Description:

When I go to delete posts on my forum I get the Following error.



Invalid referring site.

and the post doesnt get deleted. Can anyone tell me the problem and perhaps a fix to it?

Try an advanced search for 'invalid referring site', match as phrase, max age since last post 200 days:

Plenty of answers here to check out!

okay i've found an answer, its because my forum is in a frame that masks the proper URL...
do you guys know anyway of me keeping the url masking while being able to delete the post, if not no problems, but it would be helpful.

As far as I remember, it's not possible because you can't have cross-domain cookies.

<edit>OTH, if your login and logout are working in frames, that presumably means they're all from the same domain, in which case I think there's a mod that might help you!</edit>

No, I'm not sure about that (there was certainly one suggested) but, if you try even a simple search for 'frames', you'll get *a lot* of answers!
