pruning

an auto deletion of old posts in certian boards, so basically i set the board i want it to auto prune, and x amout of days to delete old topics.

my problem is i have only 15mb of mysql space, and i do not want ot go over.

How about bi-weekly pruning, which deletes any post older than the specified time limit unless it's a sticky?

Heh, actually... no, not as current.

I'll b happy to write this up for you, though.  But... you won't be able to get to it until my package server is up again.  (like two weeks...)

I'll see if I can get it up somewhere else in the meantime... but I have to write it first.

A key point to Valconeye's request is that it be able to be set up only for certain boards. That would make it a very usefull mod since many people have some boards that need to be pruned at different intervals.

I agree, but that's how it's set up currently using the "Remove posts older than x days" feature.

So I just wanted to be sure that would be part of the new mod.
