Hello, I administrate a YaBBSE board on my school's website. Just recently the host enabled safe mode. The Board had been installed the normal way and now my admins cannot login, also my users cannot update their profiles due to this safe mode. Is it possible to reconfigure YaBBSE to work in safemode without a reinstall? if so how.

The problem is not due to YaBB SE's configuration, but rather to your server's....

You will need to do this... download all the files off the FTP (from the forum directory) and then delete them.  (or better, rename.)  Then upload them back.

This is because folders and directories need to be owned by your user, and this can be a problem in safe mode....

What safe mode activated thing?

Please provide a link.... did you reinstall by UPLOADING all the source files, or with the full installer?

I recieve this error. I reinstalled by deleting all of the files in the folder and running the safe mode installer.
It used to have little things that said "Warning: Safe Mode activated" all around.
