What style and font size does YabbSe have?

I want to know the style and font that YabbSe is using... if you are confused on what I mean then reply to this and start typing.  That is the text I am talking about.  

My board www.leafsforever.ca/community/index.php seems to have a smaller and different style.  I would like to change it to this...

No, that's in YOUR css.  Here it's probably about 10pt.

Would my boards and this board have the same font family?  So all I would need to do is change the size?

Yeah.... that's the same font family.

If you leave the font size out, it should appear the same as here.

But I've never understood why 'serif' was specified as the fall-back generic type after those preferred options, so I changed all mine to 'sans-serif' except for code ('monospace')!

Why does it list 4 different styles of fonts anyways?

They are fall back fonts, if a computer does not have first font on list it goes to the next choice, and so on till it finds a font for that user.

SHouldn't Times New Roman be in that list....    I thought Times was the most used font?

Bascially you choose how you want the fonts to look. SO if you want times then add it. Depends on fonts you think are compatable with your site image. The one's included are basic types that people majority people tend to use due their style.

Most of the styles in the default template (which should still equate fairly closely to the styles in this board) are actually 12px, not 12pt!

Times New Roman is a serif font. Verdana, Arial and Helvetica are sans-serif fonts, and Verdana is designed for the screen. You wouldn't normally specify Times New Roman in among that lot because it's not at all alike, which is why I've changed the fall-back type to 'sans-serif'!

Alright, thanks...

I'm kind of confused.  The font seems to be 12 px on the home page, and on topic-listings pages.  But when you read posts or reply to posts, it looks like its 8 or 10 px.
