will YabbSE be as advanced as vBulletin?

I was told this today:

vBulletin is hands-down the most advanced and most full-featured database-driven messageboard system out there

It also has without a doubt the single biggest modding community out there, giving us access to a bunch of new features we can easily plugin to the site.

I'm not sure about hands down but a lot of people like it.  Then there is also the mentality that if you pay for something it is automatically better.  ::)

vBulletin has its pluses, and its large Mod community is one of them, but The absolute best right now is easily InvisionBoard.  I like YaBBSE for its ease of use, and I can pretty much do anything any other software can do if I want to manipulate the files.  1.5.1 will take YaBBSE to about the same speed as IBf, but IBf will still win out for its templating system.

That said, I will continue to use PfaBB\YaBBSE for the fact that the community is much friendlier than any other software community out there.

I dunno if anyone else has noticed this, but, my friend was going on about how much better vBulletin is than YaBBSE, so I checked it's list of features.

It had about 10-15 features in the list, and all but 2 were also on YaBBSE. Those 2 were pretty useless anyway.

I prefer YaBBSE, cause the community rox, it's easy to use, and very easy to mod (apparantly, I'll know first-hand soon though ;D )

Got rid of n00b ranking, cause I'd go off the scale ::)
