Dear YaBB users,
Today YaBB is celebrating it's second birthday. It's now exactly 2 years ago that I first announced YaBB at the Webmaster-Forums:
http://www.webmaster-forums.net/showthread.php?threadid=11599 . I think this is the right time to thank and congratulate those who have been very important to YaBB, even if they didn't realize they were (or still are). Personally I'm not very fond of mentioning names because it's so very easy to forget someone, but I'm going to try anyway.
The (semi) old skool YaBBers aka YaBB cronies (random order):
- Andy Tomaka
- Peter Crouch
- Jeff Lewis
- Parham
- Matt Mecham
- alienine
- ejdmoo
- Alex Rolko
- Kevin Large
- Remake
- Dave Baughman
- Christian Land
- Tim Ceuppens
- Corey Chapman
- And all those I forgot (so many names, so little brain cells to remember them)
People who started nice YaBB initiatives:
- Michael Prager (
BoardMod)
- Corey Chapman and Darya Misse (YaBB 1 Gold)
- The GYP people (who started a
German YaBB distribution)
- Jeff Lewis and Joseph Fung (
YaBB SE)
- Edwin Weij (
YaBB.nl)
- Godai (
YaBB.it)
- Kalin Somphane (
EZTarch)
- Jedi~ and Chris Cromer (
YaPP)
- The BoardNation crew (
Board Nation)
- And all the initiatives I forgot to mention
Then a couple of very important groups of people:
- The support crew, both those with and without "support specialist" tags, great support is something YaBB is well known for
- The modification coders (mod writers), you made YaBB the most customizable board available today
- The current dev teams, both of YaBB 2 and YaBB SE
- Language pack translators
- The community moderators
- The users, without users and feedback there would be no YaBB, it's as simple as that
Congratulations all, and many more YaBB years to come!
