Conversion problem, usernames changed

Hey guys, I'm wondering if there is a fix for this.  When I converted to se, all the users who had a username with two or more words, such as "Jack Thorpe" got messed up and they can't log in unless I inform them of the problem.  What happened is during the conversion, it added an underscore wherever there is a  space.  Is there a fix for this or do I have to live with it?  Thanks.

Hey Jeff.  Have you seen anything like this?  I thought I saw someone post a fix for it somewhere.  Can you lead me in the right direction?

I had that problem to, but that was in the beta versions ... no problems with the release ...

Weird.  Mine was the release since I wasn't a beta tester.  Seems to have not been fixed in the release.  Either that or I screwed something up, but everything else was absolutely perfect.

it has to do with the fac that in y1g, they replaced all the spaces with _ in the membernames...I'm not sure if there is a fix for this..

I'm worried that there is no fix.  I'm also getting emails from people like mad, telling me their password doesn't work anymore.  Not fun.  Oh well, it'll be worth it once the initial headache is over.

For the pasword thing, that maybe caused by the fact that you dit not change your cookie name (and make it different from the gold board ) In that case people who dit not logout of your Gold board can still login on your new SE board

No, and there won't be - it's impossible to fix.
