I would like a mod that would log the last known IP of every user. So that whenever they register, login or post it records their IP address in their profile and is visible only to admins.

I believe Ikonboard 3 does something similar to this, as I used to use this feature a lot myself to identify people who were signing up under false names before they had even posted or tried to post.

Could this be done as a mod?

I am writing something that can be used in a little of the same manner...will be increased user security...

Wow that is great. I have had problems with a handful of users in the past and knowing the IP of people after they register or whenever they log in makes a big difference in keeping them off the boards.

So will it be in a mod or a future release of YaBB SE?
