MySQL second database problem. Please help!

I do have a little specific problem. First of all, I know my stuff and I exactly know what the problem is. I only need help on where and how to convert the PHP code in the distribution:

I have a Linux Server running and use a database for all my site content (music files, news, newsletter subscribers, Artist infos etc.) with 5 tables in one database.

Problem is that I can only have 1 database and if I noticed it right in the install.php, the script will create a new database, right? So SE won't work on my server if I can't just use new tables in my existing database b/c I can only have one.

Am I correct or not?

Please help me

P

no - it'll use an existing database.  It only tries to create one if you specify a db that doesn't already exist.
