When YaBB SE connects to the database, it needs real password an username, not encrypted one. And unencryption is impossible. And that encrypted password would be displayed in forum preferences is I think useless, it's then better not to display it at all. ;)

then make a mod that doesnt show it in "forum preferences and settings" :)

how about, only the Main Admin, can see and edit the password, but the other admins can't see it at all?

Sounds like a good idea.

but how do you determine who is the main admin. Now that the default admin account isnt there anymore?
