If one activate the new buttons, the following problem arises: there is a line break, when you looking at posts, look at the problem under this link:

The problem arising, because the german buttons are wider than the english buttons, and that the width of some cells is hard coded.

How to solve this problem without editing the source of "display.php" and change the cell width?

@Christian: did you receive the IM re. up/low case?

I resized the four problem buttons.  I tested them on my board too.

"big bensch" just found a typo in one of the buttons:
"benachrichtigen" (right) is mispelled "benachrictigen" (wrong).

Sorry, I overlooked that.

Joseph, I only fixed the large buttons so that they display properly.  There's only four in the zip file.

One has to donwload 1st Christians buttons, then 2nd Shauns buttons, and copy those over Christians. Added a sticky thread on the "Deutsch" forum re. Download-Links, there I described the download of the buttons like this. It would be simpler, of course, to have one link only for the buttons.

Found another problem:
if you change the background color, then you see that the edge of the buttons is "hacked" (not sure about the english word, in german would say "gezackt"). Is "not smooth" maybe the better word?

I did not install your "deutsch_new.zip" (Shaun), cause thought its the same buttons new zipped. If the buttons in the link above are not the current ones, then tell me and I'll download first the new ones.

Furthermore, somebody in the "Deutsch" Forum was complaining, that not all buttons are translated yet.

Another point, got no answer yet, that the upper/lower writing in the buttons is mixed.

Since I know how time consuming it is to make buttons, I'm a little sorry that bothering again about the german buttons. But it would be nice if one had a standard set of really good german buttons.

I can give you the german text to put on the buttons, if it helps.

I updated the old links with the new buttons.  There are still a few very tiny pixels on dark backgrounds.
