Remove active link?

Hi there -

I'm happy to see a copyright/acknowlegdement to YaBB SE on the forums, but for a new board I'm setting up on a business site, I'd very much like to use a YaBB SE, but remove the active link.

Is there an established protocol for doing this?

I'm not actually looking to remove the copyright - merely the active link.

You have to pay $150 to remove the copyright.

This is because we'd really rather you didn't, but understand that sometimes people (for a reason I at least don't understand) feel it looks unprofessional.

It's note actually the copyright I was inquiring about ermoving - merely the active link.

Is it possible to remove the active referrer link, yet retain the copyright notice?

You can change it to http://www.yabbse.org/, but if you want it removed entirely you have to pay the fee.

I, Brian, the official position on this matter is that you cannot remove nor alter the displayed copyright of either YSE or SMF without purchasing a license to do so per the license agreement.  What I would advise is that you contact myself and Jeff via e-mail regarding this issue so that we can work with you toward a solution.
