Scheduled Posts

Came to mind a long time ago when I was on Gold.  Resurfaced with my upcoming vacation.

If anyone has something like a "Weekly Poll" feature, or a small board that they want to keep looking busy, it would be helpful to have a scheduled post feature.  Example:  I will be gone on 11-20-03, but I want to add a new post for members to reply to in the Weekly Polls.  In Admin I could designate the board, the date, the subject and the message.  Come that day it would make the post for me.

This sounds like a cool idea.  If you or somebody can figure out at least how to do a scheduled event period, that would open up a whole lot more doors for other cool mods as well!

Scheduling would be great. Scheduled removing of all members with 0 posts. Scheduled resetting admins password every month. Scheduled Emptying the test board etc.

Maybe if it could just run some certain php code and you could customize it. Then you could do an insert into messages etc. when you wanted to post a message, or do anything through that, with full customziability on what you want...
