Install errors

Problem Description:
I'm having problems moving my forum to a 'new' server.

I tried a clean install first and it gave me the following errors after I filled in my database username & password:

This is where I get the errors with a safe mode installation.
Without a safe-mode installation I already get errors on the first step.

I did CHMOD everything well, and I think the database data was correct.

Can anyone help me?

You forgot to chmod the directory to 777.

How could I forget it!  I mean, I thought I did chmod it, but probably I didn't.
